CUSTOMER SEGMENTATION IN SUPERMARKET USING CLUSTER ANALYSIS

The research aims to understand the types of customer groups shopping in supermarkets, segmentation customers is based on variables which impact decision-making their preference towards supermarkets. Cluster analysis performed a primary dataset collected form questionnaire. questionnaire consists that can influence customers' In total 86 respondents did participate data collection. was piloted with hierarchal cluster followed by K- Means analysis. finding suggests be segmented into 3 groups. decisions related offers, programs, priorities, promotion, place and other activities planned according target segment market need.
